COLOUR IN YOUR BEDROOM: IF YOUR ROOM IS PREDOMINANTLY TURQUOISE
Turquoise, a greenish blue, is a very calming colour to use in your bedroom. It creates a friendly atmosphere which nurtures communication from the heart and balances the emotions. If you find yourself turning to turquoise you are looking for balance in all areas of your life and wish to develop an inner calm to help you deal with stress. Sharing and togetherness is important to you and you feel you need to create an emotional relationship with someone before you can have a physical relationship with that person. Once this emotional connection has been established, you do not like to be rushed in lovemaking.
Because you want balance, you are often not spontaneous in your actions. You need to think things through. Sometimes you find it hard to make decisions in your emotional life, and yet in other areas of your life you can be very decisive, making you the best person to have around in a crisis.
Turquoise combines well with greens, blues and oranges, as well as the colours of love – deep pink and magenta. It is important to use a small amount of another colour with turquoise to prevent over-emotionalism in a bedroom. Any colour from the red spectrum will be effective, such as red, pink or magenta. It is often used in Contemporary style bedrooms, teamed with other bright colours.
