HOMOSEXUAL AS A DESEASE

Recent studies by Masters and Johnson in their clinical laboratory have shown that most physiological sexual arousal patterns and responses of homosexual men are identical to those of heterosexual men. There is one important psychological difference which favours homosexual men. This is that homosexual men have a greater concern than heterosexual men that each partner is sexually pleasured. Homosexual couples also have a greater degree of verbal and non-verbal communication during love-making than do heterosexual couples. In other words, more homosexual men find out what their partner’s sexual desires and responses are than do heterosexual men, and by acting on those responses help their partner to greater sexual pleasure.

Although many homosexual relationships are fulfilling, problems may arise, as they may in heterosexual relationships. The first of these problems is that of sexually transmitted disease, the second is the effect of age.
